Coach Dave Power, a legend in girls basketball in Illinois High School history, spent eleven seasons
as the head coach of the Tigers from 1982-83 through 1992-93. After spending his first six seasons at Proviso
West, Coach Powers quickly turned the IHM program into one of the premier programs in the state during his tenure there. Lets

"Kristen Maskala helped lead IHM to a state title in 1987 and was runner-up to Ms. Illinois Basketball
in 1989. Kristen attended Marquette Univ. where she scored 1,745 points and became Marquette's all time leading scorer.
Her jersey was retired & now hangs in the rafters at Marquette. Kristen was also an Academic All-American at Marquette."
