BOYS TRACK & FIELD
The Proviso Township High School thinclads earned seven top-ten IHSA State Finals finishes. Inluded in this number
was a
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in 1940!! In addition a total of 37 individual medals were won including 10
individual Gold Medals!! The most decorated athlete of the day was
Leicester "Lee" Farmer. Lee won
a total of
FOUR Gold Medals and one Silver Medal over a three year period (1938-40). The totals,
