The History of Ferrin High School

Ferrin (population approximately 200) is located in southwestern Illinois in the east-central portion of Clinton County. County Highway 3 is the main roadway to and from Ferrin, connecting it to U. S. Route 50 less than 1 mile to the north. Ferrin is located on the CSX Transportation Railroad line. Ferrin is about 8 miles east of Carlyle and 11 miles northwest of Centralia.
