CHICAGO HARRISON HIGH SCHOOL
"I was a graduate of Harrison (June 1960) and I lost my school yearbook. I am seeking information on how to obtain the
yearbook for 1960. some of the graphics were done by Stanley Edwards who became a famous artist, and he was
a great friend of mine. he school was integrating I am black, and Stanley was white, I played in a jazz band during
the time and Stanley and I hung out after school on weekends on the gold coast. We were considered "Beatniks" and because
of the racial turmoil at the time, our black/white relationships were special. The yearbook reflects this and I would
be a very happy man if I could find a copy. I do not know the name of the photo company that took printed the book.
Could you please help me.
Best Regards,

From Brian Hoxsey:
I am looking for any old newspaper clippings,
programs, photos or any other information on any years (1920-2003) of the Little Ten Conference Boys Basketball Tournament. Also,
if there are any former players that have a special story or account of their experience playing in the tournament, I would
love to hear it. I am compiling a history of the tournament and could use any help any one would have.

My name is
Bert Fulk and I am the great-grandson of
Bert Dancey. I was wondering
if you had any pictures of
Bert from his high school days. My grandmother would absolutely love to have
some photos or copies of the same. He attended
Forrest Township High School and graduated in either 1923 or 1924."
From Doug Smith:
Recently I found copies of the 1957 and 1958
Fairview Valley Senior High School yearbooks, and I just wondered if you knew whether or not there were any famous or interesting students pictured
in either book? Any outstanding athletes, businessmen, politicians etc? The books originally belonged to student
Jane
McWilliams who went on to graduate from Illinois State Normal University in 1962, and I assume became a teacher somewhere."
From Brian Carusella:
"This is a long shot, but if anyone knows the answer I am confident it is you! I am researching radios
built by troops during the World Wars, and have run across a set at the Army Communications Museum at Fort Monmouth.
It was built by a Lieut. George B. Ferree of Urbana. The little that I
have been able to uncover about Lieut. Ferree indicates that he may possibly have
been Coach George Ferree of Chenoa High School fame. First World War records are sketchy at best, so I haven't been able to confirm it yet. Do you happen to know
of any biographical information about Coach Ferree? Any information would likely provide a good lead and
would be most appreciated."
